Party Planning Suggestions
We recommend that your party is between 2 1/2 and 3 hours in duration. We will be there approx. 2 hours, and since you may have other activities planned that require all the girls be together; eating, cake, presents, etc., it is best to do this before we arrive, or after we leave. This way no one is left out of any activity and you will have plenty of time.
You may want to have an activity, craft or something for the girls to do while they wait their turn. They have many low cost crafts to choose from at Michael's or AC Moore. A no-cost, no-fail idea is dancing. Games such as freeze dance, limbo and the cha-cha slide can be great fun! Another no cost idea is to have the girls make fashion collages..Some old fashion and teen magazines, scissors, paper and glue sticks is all you need! We do not provide supervision or organized activities, as our stylists will be busy with the girls they are attending to. If you wish to have an additional party host to run everything; food service, planned activities, crafts, games, etc., you may add the full service option for an additional charge to your package. Another helpful idea is to give the girls a "number." Have them draw out of a hat. Of course, the Birthday Girl always goes first! Even though they will all get a turn, many kids don't want to get out of line or be last. Giving them a number allows them to enjoy the other activities at your party.
Always put R.S.V.P instead of regrets only on your invitations. Follow up with your guests if they don't respond. We take your final head count and payment 72 hours prior to your party date and we do not refund for no shows. We only accept MasterCard and Visa. Sorry, no personal checks or cash. The balance will be applied to the credit card you provide at the time of your deposit, unless you provide a different card.
We strive to arrive and finish on time. However, because we are traveling, and sometimes at a far distance, we may run into traffic, construction, etc which cause us to be late. Please understand, as safety is priority and we don't want our stylists speeding to avoid a late arrival. We are at your house or venue for approx. 2 hours. This will depend on the hairstyles that the girls choose, some take longer than others. Because of this, we may run over a bit. We always stay until every girl looks fabulous.
Finally, we will need a large table; preferably a fold out plastic banquet table If you use a kitchen/dining table, we do cover your table to protect it, but we are not responsible for damage. We will also need 4 chairs and 2 bar stools if you have them. We bring all other supplies. We sanitize our combs with barbicide in between guests.
